Tennessee is planning a third offering of the Clean Tennessee Energy Grants to fund energy efficiency projects for municipal governments, county governments, utility districts and other similar entities across the state.
The state plans to make $1.9 million available for the grants.
“Increasing Tennessee’s energy efficiency will help us be even better stewards of both taxpayer dollars and our environment,” said Gov. Bill Haslam.
For 40 years, volunteers with CONTACT Care Line have provided a listening ear to East Tennesseans in crisis, and the Oak Ridge-based nonprofit is welcoming the public to an evening of Bluegrass music to celebrate its milestone anniversary.
