Kingston Public Library has been selected to receive an AWE Early Literacy Children’s Computer Station.
The library was selected to receive the self contained, educational computer station with programs for ages 2-10 by the Tennessee Children’s Cabinet through the Early Childhood Advisory Council and in partnership with the Tennessee State Library and Archives and the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
The $3,200 grant for the station includes training two library staff members this summer.

Last Sunday, St. Mary’s Baptist Church celebrated our annual homecoming of 123 years. We had a great Sunday school, and the morning message was delivered by the pastor, the Rev. Jesse L. Williams Sr. He spoke from 2 Corinthians 7:14. Music was provided by the gospel choir. A delicious meal was served after this service.
