  • Stubbs to mark 90th

    All relatives and friends are invited to the 90th birthday celebration for Neva King Webster Stubbs.

    The celebration will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 4 in Caney Ford Baptist Church’s life center, Midtown.

  • Nalls-Langley

    Donald and Susan Nalls of Oak Ridge announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Lauren Nalls, to David Branson Langley.

    He is the son of Russell and Paula Langley of Kingston.

    The ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at The Lighthouse, Knoxville. A reception will follow at The Lighthouse.

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Theresa Nalls and the late Donald Nalls, and Clair and Ann Schwob.

    A graduate of Maryville College with a degree in psychology, she is presently pursuing a degree in nursing.

  • Clark-Long

    Tina and Eric Clark of Kingston, and Winston Chelf and Carrie Burg announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Logan Clark, to Eric Long.

    He is the son of Rick and Vicky Long of Harriman.

    The ceremony will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 4 at Twin Cedar Farm, Rockford. A reception will follow at Twin Cedar Farm.

    Invitations will be sent, but all relatives and friends of the couple are invited to attend.

  • Bentley-Theiss

    Mark and Kelly Bentley of Knoxville announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Marie Bentley, to U.S. Navy Lt. j.g. Corey Stewart Theiss.

    He is the son of Tim and Benét Theiss of Kingston.

    The ceremony will be on Aug. 30 at Hardin Valley Church of Christ.

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rex and Shirley Bailey of Farragut, and Kathryn Bentley and the late Thomas Bentley of Knoxville.

  • Woods marks 94th birthday

    Hazel Ellis Woods, far right, celebrated her 94th birthday with 56 family members and friends on Aug. 2 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Boyd Woody.

    Among the guests were her three surviving siblings from a family of 10 children.

    The siblings include, from left, Lillie Glavich, 92, of Dade City, Fla.; C.V. Terry, 84, of Clinton; J.B. Terry, 90, of Huntsville; and Woods.

  • Keel-Leslie

    Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Joe Keel of Tuscaloosa, Ala., announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hannah Catherine Keel, to Aaron Samuel Leslie.

    He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel M. Leslie of Kingston.

    The ceremony will be on Sept. 7 at Sunny Acres Farm in Louisville, Ky.

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Keel of Dothan, Ala., and the late William Henry Burge and Mary Evelyn Huckabee Burge of Linden, Ala.

  • Anna Mae Moore

    Anna Mae Moore was born at 2:52 a.m. Aug. 5 in University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville.

    She weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

    She is the daughter of Andrew and Morgan Moore of Kingston.

    Grandparents are Bill and Bernice Koprince of Knoxville, and Curtis and Debbie Moore of Kingston.

    Great-grandparents are Nancy Moore and Nathan Hickey.

    Anna Mae has an older brother, 2-year-old Billy.
