Janet Langley Settle and Richard Settle Jr. of Abingdon, Va., and Kenneth Ray Strunk of Huntsville announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Dr. Sarah Rae Strunk of Boston, to Nickolas Paul Easter also of Boston.

He is the son of Gwen Loy Easter of Maryville and Dennis Edward and Denise Easter of Harriman.

An October wedding is planned in Abingdon.

Anna Elizabeth Oliver was born June 16 in Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville.

She is the daughter of Alan and Cindy McGill-Oliver of Harriman.

Grandparents are Maggie Bingham of Oakdale and the late Gilbert Bingham, the late Sam McGill, and John and Sherry Schuman of Harriman.

Anna has two brothers, Austin, 8, and Aiden, 2; and a 6-year-old sister, Addison.

Tamara and Greg Underwood announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Underwood, to Andrew Halcomb.

He is the son of Jason and Stacey Halcomb and Kim Beason.

The ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at Tommy and Linda Thompson’s lake house, Rockwood.

A reception will follow.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Midway High School. She is employed with Newton Cosmetic Dentistry in Clinton.

Julia Milhorn celebrated her 90th birthday on July 29 with a lunch at Shoney’s in Harriman.

Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Tom Milhorn, Wylie Milhorn, R.H. Milhorn, Angie Milhorn, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Milhorn, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Milhorn and Tony and Carolyn Jones.

Her family includes daughters and sons-in-law,  Janie and Van Hughes and Cathy and Curtis Griffis; and grandsons Adam Griffis, Eric and wife Christy Hughes, and Shane Hughes.
