Milestones

Landyn James Goad was born at 7:13 p.m. July 6 in Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville.

He weighed 3 pounds, 2.4 ounces and was 16 inches long.

He is the son of Tressa Shawntae Gibson and Travis Ray Goad of Rockwood.

Grandparents are Tracie Pickard of Harriman, Sean Gibson of Rockwood and Karen and Lonnie Goad of Harriman,

Great-grandparents are Clara Pickard of Harriman and the late Willie Pickard, Beverly and Rolland Gibson of Rockwood and Hazel Frederick.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Harmon will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary July 21.
Homer Harmon and the former Wanda Bullens, both of Harriman, were married July 21, 1951, in Harriman with the Rev. E. H. Howard officiating.
They have two sons, Rick Allen Harmon and wife Pat, Knoxville, Kim Trent Harmon, Harriman; three grandsons, Justin Harmon and Aaron Harmon, both of Knoxville, Chris Thomas and wife Mary, Maryville; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Savannah Thomas.
 

Jacob William Buckholtz celebrated his second birthday May 22.
He is the son of Amber Taylor, Rockwood, and Vince Buckholtz, Midtown.
Grandparents are Mike and Pam Taylor, Harriman, and Lee Taylor, and Dewayne and Stephanie Buckholtz, all of Rockwood.
Great-grandparents are Paul and Mary Bennett, Kingston, Pete and Elen Williams, Harriman, David and Lila Taylor of Spring City, and the late Leon Moore.
Jacob has a five year old brother, Hayden.
 

Amanda Redmon and Mark Cofer were married on April 30 at Hidden Mountain Resort in Sevierville.

The Rev. Mike Winters officiated during the afternoon ceremony.

Beth Fink of Rockwood attended her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friend, Lynette Knight of Smyrna; the bride’s sister, Maeghan Redmon of Rockwood; and Arial Cofer of Rockwood, the bride’s stepdaughter. The bride’s niece, Bella Fink of Rockwood, served as flower girl.
