    April 24 — Megan and Scott Burnham, Oliver Springs. A girl, Brianna Robyn, 8 pounds, 6 ounces. Sibling: Eli James. Grandparents: Rick and Charlotte Gaylor; Steve and Jeannie Burnham.

  • Carson Luke Kilby

    Carson Luke Kilby was born March 18 in University of Tennessee Medical Center.

    He is the son of Lindsay Lively and Eric Shane Kilby of Harriman.

    Grandparents are Jeff and Anita Lively of Harriman, Sharon and Matt Stout of Oakdale, and David Kilby of Oakdale.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Swanner 63rd

    Berl and Eula Swanner of Rockwood celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary with their family at the Whitestone Inn.

    They were married in Trentville on May 16, 1948.

    They have three children: Mike and wife Debbie Swanner of Greenville, S.C., Janice and husband Todd Baines of Athens, and Lisa and husband Jimmy Crabtree of Rockwood.

  • Poland-Gibson

    Dwayne and Beth Poland announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Ann Poland, to Wesley Wayne Gibson.

    He is the son of Mel and Mary Ellen Gibson of Clinton.

    The ceremony will be at 6 p.m. June 11 in Lee Village Baptist Church. A poolside reception at the home of the bride’s parents will follow.

    Invitations will be sent, but all relatives and friends of the couple are invited to attend.

    Dale and Lori Watson of Kingston announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Watson of Kingston, to Ryan Spann of Paducah, Ky.

    He is the son of Ron and Glenda Spann of Paducah.

    The ceremony will be on June 11 in Young’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Kingston.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Burnette 50th

    Wayne and Venita Burnette will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. June 4 in Community Baptist Church’s fellowship hall, Rockwood.

    All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

    The couple was married on June 3, 1961. He is pastor of Community Baptist Church.

    They have two daughters, Tammy Leffew of Harriman, and Sherry Matheson of Rockwood.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Wattenbarger

    Jacquelyn Jacoby and H. Lloyd Wattenbarger were married on April 24 aboard the Queen Mary II in the North Atlantic on a return voyage from England.

    Capt. Paul Wright officiated during the ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of the late Albert Smith and the late Marion Lunsford.

    The groom is the son of the late Henry Wattenbarger and the late Christine Taylor Wattenbarger.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Weaver

    Tonja Coranne Widick and Ricky Lee Weaver were married in a private outdoor ceremony at noon Feb. 14 in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

    Chaplain Jim Eastin officiated during the double-ring ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Marion E. and Ruth A. Kettelhut Widick of Nebraska and southern Utah.

    The groom is the son of Maria J. Misamer Weaver of Germany and Tennessee and the late Elmer L. Weaver of Knoxville.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Trotter 50th

    Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Trotter of Kingston will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 27.

    Their celebration will include a dinner with family and a trip to the mountains.

    Trotter and the former Leokadya Bukowski were married on May 27, 1961, in Crown Point, Ind. They met in St. John, Ind., after their mothers conspired to “fix them up” with each other.

    They spent most of their married life in St. John until their retirement and relocation to Tennessee.

    Lindsey Nichole Booth and Ethan James Miller were married May 14 in Westel Baptist Church.

    The Rev. Mike Higgins officiated during the evening ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of John Booth and Terra Booth.

    The groom is the son of Lisa Reid and Philip “Jake” Miller.

    The bride was escorted by her father. Bridesmaids were Kayla Evans, Savannah Keefer, Tinasha Rogers and Trista Hamby. Jessica Youngblood served as flower girl.
