  • Mr. & Mrs. York 40th

    Ron and Shayne McKinney York celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows on Aug. 28 in Church of Joy in Leitchfield, Ky.

    A reception followed in the church fellowship hall. It was hosted by their son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Savanna York, and grandson, Ethan York, all of Alvaton, Ky.

    Registry table attendants, Briannah and Piper Pendley, distributed programs in the foyer, where a display held Shayne York’s wedding gown and shoes.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Jones

    Jessica Tamar Allen of Rockwood and Corey Dustin Jones of Harriman were married on May 20 in Liberty Baptist Church, Kingston.

    The Rev. Randy Griffis officiated during the 7 p.m. ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Keith and Buffy Allen of Rockwood.

    The groom is the son of Charlie and Kim Jones of Harriman.

    The bride, escorted by her father,  wore an A-line  silk ivory dress with beaded lace embroidery throughout with fabric and lace flowers sewn onto the skirt and chapel-length train.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Will

    Cynthia Lynn Franklin and Jody Louis Will were married on July 23 at Chapel at the Park in Gatlinburg.

    The Rev. Timothy McIntyre officiated during the ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Don and Barbara Franklin of Kingston.

    The groom is the son of Tim and Patty Will of Athens.

    Following a wedding trip to Alaska aboard the Carnival Spirit, the newlyweds are at home in Kingston.

  • Jaycee Ann Hall

    Jaycee Ann Hall was born Sept. 3 in University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville.

    She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

    She is the daughter of Robby and Heather Hall of Lancing,

    Grandparents include Anthony Phillips and Tammy Stepp of Kingston, Robert Hall and Anita Hall of Lancing, and the late Lois Melton Hall.

  • Parks-Evans

    Mr. and Mrs. Jason Clark of Lenoir City announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kayla Parks, to Slade Evans.

    He is the son of Scott Evans of Clarksville and Cheryl Howell of Linden.

    The ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Oct. 1 at Grande Vista Bay, Rockwood.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville with a degree in elementary education. She is a fifth-grade teacher at Barkers Mill Elementary School, Clarksville.

  • Brycelyn Steven Hennager

    Brycelyn Steven Hennager celebrated his third birthday on Sept. 11.

    He celebrated with a self-chosen fire-truck-themed party in Destin, Fla. His family said they felt this was a fitting tribute to those affected by the 9/11 tragedy.

    He is the son of Steven and Krystal Hennager of Rockwood.

    Grandparents are David and Carolyn Thomas of Rockwood and Ronnie and Tina Hennager of the Westel community near Rockwood.

    Great-grandparents are Gene and Marthalee

  • Samantha Taylor and Savannah Taylor

    Twin sisters Samantha and Savannah Taylor celebrated their fourth birthday on Aug. 17 in Michigan.

    They are the daughters of Kyle and Tamala Taylor of Kingston.

    Grandparents are Duane and Karen Sherman of Michigan, and Nancy Taylor of Rockwood and the late Bob Taylor.

    The twins have a sister, Natasha; and a brother, Nickolas.

  • Rider-Matheson

    Kathy L. Rider and Clifton David Matheson announce their forthcoming marriage.

    The ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Matheson home. A reception will follow.

    Invitations will be sent to individuals to join the couple on their special day.

    The bride elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rider of Fruithurst, Ala.

    David and Melinda Barnes of Harriman announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Krista Barnes, to Tim Fink.

    He is the son of Jerry and Wilma Black of Rockwood and Jeff Fink of Harriman.

    The ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 1 in Lee Village Baptist Church in Harriman. A reception will follow in the church’s fellowship hall.

    All relatives and friends of the couple are invited to attend.
