  • Mr. & Mrs. Isham 50th

    Jerry and Brenda Isham of Rockwood will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 12.

    They were married on July 12, 1963, in South Harriman, with the Rev. Jim Jenkins officiating.

    She graduated from South Harriman High School in 1963, and he attended Roane County High School.

    He worked at the paper mill in Harriman, and the couple owned Jerry’s Boat Sales in Midtown.

    They have three children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

  • Helton-Harris

    Courtney Helton and Bryce Harris, both of Harriman, announce their forthcoming marriage.

    The ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Helton family creek.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of Dale and Joyce Helton of Rockwood.  

    Her grandparents are Helen Willis and the late Ernest Willis, the late, Mary Cordts, the late Donald Grant, and Tony Helton.

    She is employed with The Eye Center.

    The prospective groom is the son of Rick and Kim Harris of Kingston.

  • Uselton-Dearman

    Keith and Penelope Uselton of Kingston announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Anna Lauren, to James Robert Dearman.

    He is the son of Jim and Carol Dearman of Madison, Ala.

    The ceremony will be July 14 at Ruby Nashville.

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Edward and Laura Uselton, and Bobby Hickman of Lynnville and the late Mary Ann Hickman.

    She is a 2009 graduate of Roane County High School and a 2013 graduate of Lipscomb University with a major in English.

  • Austin-Parsons

    Ashley Elizabeth Austin and Matthew Craig Parsons, both of Harriman, announce their forthcoming marriage.

    The ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 on the beach in Destin, Fla.

    The bride-elect’s parents are Tommy Austin (father), Deni Milburn (mother), Jennifer Austin (stepmother) and Bill Milburn (stepfather).

    Her grandparents are the late Carl and Alva Austin and the late Ruby Smythe. Her stepgrandparents are Jane and Frank Venable.

    The prospective groom is the son of Steve and Connie Parsons of Kingston.

  • Brayden Andrew Burney

    Brayden Andrew Burney turned 5 years old on June 9.

    He celebrated on June 8 with a Woody and Buzz “Toy Story” party with relatives and friends.

    He is the son of Melissa and Scott Burney of Harriman.

    Grandparents are Linda Utley Banks of Harriman, and Troy and Annette Burney of Oliver Springs.

    Great-grandparents are the late Melvin and Lola Utley, the late Sarah and Junior Burney, and the late Etoy and O.T. McDaniel.

    Brayden has a 3-year-old brother, Shawn Alexander Burney.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Kelly 50th

    Larry and Sue Kelly will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 29.

    They will be honored with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. June 29 in Union Chapel Baptist Church at 2734 Lawnville Road, Kingston.

    The couple requests no gifts.

    The Kellys were married on June 29, 1963, in Union Chapel Baptist Church, Kingston, with the Rev. L.D. Noland officiating.

    They have a daughter and son-in-law, Kim Kelly Crowder and Jeff Crowder.

    There are four granddaughters, Alyson, Emily, Anna and Ella Crowder.

    Candace Elizabeth McKinney and Samuel Virgil Stephenson, both of Kingston, announce their forthcoming marriage.

    The ceremony will be at 2 p.m. June 15 in Grace Community Church, Kingston.

    The bride-elect is the daughter of Carol Peddicord McKinney of Kingston.

    Her grandparents are Loretta Peddicord and the late Carl Peddicord, and Peggy McKinney and the late Floyd McKinney.

    The prospective groom is the son of Craig and Tammie Stephenson of Kingston.
