Homecoming at Dyllis Baptist Church, Harriman, on Sept. 14 will celebrate the church’s 132nd year.
Pastor James Griffin will bring the message at 11 a.m., with Sunday school starting at 10.
A potluck luncheon will begin at noon in the church’s fellowship hall.
Longtime church member Bonita Irwin recalls that the church was known as Prospect Baptist Church until the membership voted to change the name on Jan. 27, 1954.
The church was established on Nov. 17, 1882.
