Obed Wild and Scenic River, in partnership with bowyer Travis Gosnell, will have the year’s first primitive bow workshop on Jan. 15.
The workshop will be from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Obed Visitor Center at 208 Maiden St., Wartburg.
Gosnell, who built his first bow as a child, said he has always enjoyed a good challenge.
“At times, it is a kind of therapy from the rat race of life,” he said about building bows.
Gosnell has his bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Tennessee Tech University.
