The smell of spring in the air means it’s time to get warmed up for the 2018 high school softball season.

The Oliver Springs Lady Cats brought the heat on a cold opening night with a big district win against Oneida as pitcher Desirae Davis struck out 10 to shut down the Lady Indians, 10-0.

Davis set the bar high in the first, whiffing the top three of Oneida’s line-up.
