Kingston’s Gabe Shillings prepares to knock home a 21-yard field goal in Friday’s 17-14 victory over Sequoyah.
Jackets pick up second win, 17-14

It wasn't pretty at times, but the Kingston Yellow Jackets picked up their second win of the season Friday night with a hard fought 17-14 victory over Sequoyah at Dr. Nat Sugarman Memorial Field.
Muddy field conditions made it hard for either team to move freely, but Sequoyah's Power-I offense seemed more suited for a sloppy field. Kingston's defense, however, held the Chiefs to 154 yards rushing on 36 carries. Sequoyah added 60 yards passing to end the evening with 214 total yards.
