  • Dana B. Sharp

    Dana B. Sharp, 48, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at her home.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Burgess.

    Survivors include her husband, Michael Sharp, Oak Ridge, formerly of Rockwood; a son, Alex Sharp, Oak Ridge; and her mother and stepfather, Stephanie and Richard Davis, Oak Ridge.

    The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. Memorial service will follow in the chapel, with the Rev. Kara Foster officiating.

    James Ansley Owens, 73, of Oliver Springs, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, at his home.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Lora Ruffner Owens; and a son, Jimmy Rodney Owens.

    Survivors include his wife, Pauline Hall Owens, Oliver Springs; four daughters, Sheila Rimel, Oak Ridge, Sandra Housley, Winchester, Sherri Strickland and Jennifer Butler. both of Oliver Springs

    Edith Pearl Wyrick Jared, 92, of Cookeville, formerly of Rockwood, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in Master’s Health Care Center, Algood.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wilson Jared; and her parents, Samuel Francis Wyrick and Kalva Ann Jiles Wyrick.

    Survivors include two daughters, Ann Jared Lewald, Cookeville, and Donna Jared Austin, Louisville, Ky.

    Burial was at 10 a.m. CST Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Cookeville City Cemetery.

    Allene Jackson, 82, of Ten Mile, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in Parkwest Medical Center.

    She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. An avid University of Tennessee Lady Vols basketball fan, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Jackson; her parents,  Lee and Elbia Sitzlar; a brother Hubert Sitzlar; and two sisters, Louise Branson and Betty Davis.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Edward and Ruth Waldo Gill.

    Survivors include his wife, Susie Nance, Rockwood; a daughter, Jessica Sherrill, Rockwood; and a son, Jerry Gill Jr., Rockwood.

    Funeral service was at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in Evans Mortuary chapel, Rockwood. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery, Rockwood.

    James Doss, 40, of Kingston, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge.

    Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Stephen “Mickey” Bullard; and his father, Robert “Bobby” Doss.

    Funeral service was at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in Davis Funeral Home, Harriman, with the Rev. Robert Laymance officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 30, at Piney Grove Cemetery, Midtown.

    He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lucille Dearmore.

    Tiny June Delozier Johnson Bean passed away at her home in Clinton on Wednesday morning, March 28, 2012.

    She was born Jan. 12, 1941.

    She was preceded in death by her mother, Winnie Delozier; her father, James Delozier; a brother, Jimmy Delozier; a sister, Joann Wampler; and a granddaughter, Ginny Johnson.

    Survivors include her husband, Andrew Bean; two sons, Tom Johnson and wife Regina, and Jerry Johnson and wife Kristy; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; nine stepchildren; and a host of stepgrandchildren.
