    Glenn Odell “Pap” Williams, 92, of Deer Lodge, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, in Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

    He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Williams Steelman.

    Funeral service was at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg, with Bro. Genis Hawkins and Bro. Vic Davis officiating. Burial will be at noon Wednesday, March 7, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Sunbright.

    Ray Peters, 71, of Harriman, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, in Roane Medical Center.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William “Bill” Peters; and his mother, Glenice Peters Lynch.

  • James William Jenkins Jr.

    James William Jenkins Jr., 93, of Lenoir City, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, in  Fort Loudoun Medical Center.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Louise Petty Jenkins; and his parents, James W. and Sarah Brown Jenkins.

    Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Rogers and Joyce Cook, both of Lenoir City, and Patricia Hyde, Georgia; and three sons, L.J. Jenkins and Alfred Jenkins, both of Lenoir City, and Glen Jenkins, Kingston.

    Dennis Ray Cantrell, 53, of Harriman, passed away early Friday, March 2, 2012, in Roane Medical Center.

    He was preceded in death by a sister, Gayle Mullins; and his father, Hubert Cantrell.

  • Skylar Dean Al-Hussein

    Skylar Dean Al-Hussein, 7, son of Moneer Al-Hussein and Nora Faye Rucker of Oliver Springs, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at his home.

    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Diana Rucker.

    Along with his parents, he is also survived by two brothers, Hakiem and Noah Al-Hussein; three sisters, Kaydien, Addie and Soriah Al-Hussein; his paternal grandparents, Akram Al-Hussein and Tammy Manis; his maternal grandfather, Harley Rucker; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of the family.

  • Ada Grace Tutterrow

    Ada Grace Tutterrow, 99, of Kingston, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012, in Harriman Care and Rehabilitation Center.

    She was a member of Kingston First Baptist Church and was retired from City and County Bank in Kingston.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. and Alice Harvey Tutterrow; and three brothers, George, John B. and Harvey.

    Survivors include a sister, Vivian Russell, Kingston; a sister-in-law, Thelma Tutterrow, Crossville; nieces, nephews and cousins.

  • Mary McCrary Woody

    Mary McCrary Woody, 79, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, in University of Tennessee Medical Center.

    She was a member of Kingston First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, and was an avid bowler and UT Lady Vols fan.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will McCrary; two sisters, Artie Miller and Alma Costner; and three brothers, Grover, Ralph and Ray McCrary.

  • Walker Bridges

    Walker Bridges, 93, of Harriman, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, in Roane Medical Center, Harriman.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy Bridges, and Nila Humphrey Bridges.

    Survivors include his wife,  Norma Akins Bridges, Harriman.

    Funeral service was at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 1, in Sharp Funeral Home chapel, Oliver Springs, with John Edwards officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, at 11:00 am at the New Fairview Cemetery, Oliver Springs.

  • Daisy Ferguson Chitwood

    Daisy Ferguson Chitwood, 80, of Harriman (Midtown), passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, in Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge.

    She was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Chattanooga. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Harriman and was a loving wife and mother.

    She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Bill Chitwood; her father, Frank Ferguson; her mother, Lennie Plemons Ferguson; and two brothers, Eugene Ferguson and Carl Ferguson.

  • Maria Dolores Villalobos

    Maria Dolores Villalobos, 83, born April 2, 1929, passed away peacefully in her home with family at her side on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012.

    Originally of Tlacoltalpan, Veracruz, Mexico, she moved to Oliver Springs in 2007. She was a compassionate woman, a devout Catholic who had room in heart for all people and animals and was instantly loved by all.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Marciano Villalobos; her mother, Francisca Valerio; a brother, Rafael Villalobos; a sister, Gloria L. Villalobos and husband Armando Campos.
