    She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben A. Carter; parents, Marion and Mary Strunk; brothers, Ray Strunk and Ralph Strunk; sisters, Margaret “Mot” Moates, Hazel Taylor and Alyne Goldston; and special friend, Inez Derrick.

She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A devout Christian, she was a faithful member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, Oliver Springs.
