Madhavi Martin will discuss the use of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy in forensics applications during the upcoming Friends of ORNL monthly luncheon lecture meeting.
The talk on Jan. 19. will focus on LIBS that has been used to detect elements for a variety of samples specifically for forensic applications.
The meeting in the UT Resource Center at 1201 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, begins with a social time at 11 a.m.
Lunch is $7 and starts at 11:30, with the lecture from noon to 1 p.m.
