Roane Imagination Library has been a part of our lives for several years. 
Although our grandson is now too old to continue receiving his books, his 3-year-old sister has been getting them since she was born. 
It is fun when Bryson looks at a new book and says, “I remember getting this book. Can I read it to Kaylee?”
The books begin as very simple stories and progress as the child gets older. They are always good quality with lots of colorful pictures and fun stories.

I had Deputy Derek Kennedy come to my house once for some problems we were having, and I found that he was good and honest.

I feel bad that he left the sheriff’s department; I feel that they lost a good man.

I have read all the write-ups in the paper on what happened when he left recently. It looked like Kennedy was trying to do his job, and David Mitchell was trying to stop him because he was afraid that his granddaughter was going to get a ticket for DUI.

Police are stealing weapons wherever they can.

They will have someone come in your home and hold you at gunpoint until you sign your weapons over to them.

The officer will then get a warrant already signed by the judge and then fill it out.

Then they will call you up and have you bring the weapons to them.

The law doesn’t care if the warrant is delivered to your house or not, just as long as they get the weapons.

The officers are trying to steal the weapons for themselves.

My family would like to thank District Attorney General Russell Johnson for his comments and support pertaining to the malicious Facebook posting of pictures from my brother, Bill Jones and his friend’s murders.

It was in my and most everyone’s opinion a heinous act, as well as an admission of guilt.

This latest ploy for attention is not surprising, as Rocky and Leon Houston are like two dogs with the mange.

No matter how much they scratch, it is going to spread until it finally consumes them.
