The revenue Community Probation Services generates in Roane County was down in 2016, according to the annual letter it sends to County Executive Ron Woody.
This year’s letter, dated Jan. 3, said the company grossed $160,340.01.
Roane County contracts with CPS to provide probation services for people convicted in General Sessions Court.
The contract requires the company to pay Roane County 5 percent of its gross revenue. In 2016, that amounted to $8,017.
Woody said the county received the check from CPS last month.
