CASA of the Tennessee Valley Roane County program office is currently seeking committed volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of a child in court. A CASA volunteer provides the court with carefully researched background details about the child to help the judge make a sound decision about the child’s future. Volunteers must pass a background check and complete a training course.
For more information, and to receive a CASA volunteer application package, please contact the Roane County CASA at 865-924-8460.
