    Three fantastic seasons came to an end Friday night as the Rockwood Middle School Tigers, Oliver Springs Middle School Lady Bobcats and Cherokee Lady Yellow Jackets would all fall in TMSAA East Tennessee Sectional semifinal action.

    The Cherokee Yellow Jackets would see their postseason run end Tuesday evening with a 36-25 loss at the hands of Area 3-AAA champion Heritage in the quarterfinal round of TMSAA East Tennessee AAA Sectional at Sevierville Middle School.

    What was first thought to be a tune-up game for the end of the regular season turned nightmarish for Midway Tuesday night as the Green Wave dropped a 78-69 decision to Crossroad Christian Academy (CCA) from near Lenoir City.

     The Rockwood Middle School Tigers have blown out a lot of opponents in amassing a 24-0 record entering Wednesday’s TMSAA East Tennessee AA Sectional quarterfinal.

    Win 25, however, was anything but easy as the Norris Senators hung around all night, but in the end it was the Tigers advancing to Friday’s tournament semifinals with a 54-48 victory.
