  • Bobcats suffer rough night...

     

    The Oliver Springs Bobcats and Lady ’Cats traveled to Loudon Thursday night, but the trip was not a good one as the host Redskins and Lady Redskins came away with wins.

    The girls game went down to the wire, but in the end it was Loudon coming away with a 41-39 victory.

  • Raiderettes knock off...

     

    The Roane State Raiderettes used a balanced attack in picking up a 71-51 road victory over South Carolina’s Spartanburg Methodist College on Wednesday.

    Twelve different Raiderettes scored on the night with only Nicole Hassler reaching double figures with 11 points.

  • Grace Christian rams Midway in...

     

    The Midway Lady Waves found the going to be tough sledding against the Grace Christian Academy Lady Rams, taking one on the chin in a 69-45 defeat Thursday evening. 

    Grace went on runs of 9-4 and 11-3 in the first period to take the early 20-7 lead at the end of the period. 

  • Devils split with Coalfield

     

    The youthful Coalfield Lady Yellow Jackets continued their early season struggles as they fell to the Lady Blue Devils from Harriman 54-43 Thursday night at Coalfield’s John Jackson Memorial Gymnasium.

    The boys game was the opposite as Coalfield would pick up their third straight win, dominating the Blue Devils, 67-52.

  • Midway Middle takes two from...

     

    The Middle School Green Waves completed a sweep of Philadelphia Thursday night with a tight 34-33 win. Midway won at Philadelphia in opening game of the season. 

    Midway improved to 4-6 with the win.

  • Lady Devils top Spring City, 26-...

     The Harriman Middle School Lady Blue Devils raced out to a big first quarter lead and never looked back in picking up a 26-15 victory at Spring City Thursday night.

    Five different players scored for Harriman in the opening period as Baron Tapp’s squad led 13-0 after six minutes of play.

  • Midway Middle battles Panthers

     

    The Midway Middle School Green Waves split games with Lenoir City Monday night with the Lady Waves falling, 32-29, and the Green Waves winning, 39-32.

    The Lady Waves fell to 2-7 with the loss while the Green Waves are 3-6 on the season. 

  • Mt. Pisgah splits with ACS

     

    The Mt. Pisgah Christian Academy Patriots and Lady Patriots traveled to Knoxville Monday and split a pair of games with Apostolic Christian School (ACS).

    The Lady Patriots took the floor first and dropped a 42-34 decision, but Mt. Pisgah bounced back with a 62-42 victory in the boys game.

  • HMS falls at Wartburg

     

    The shooting for the first three periods of the girls game between the Wartburg Central Middle School Lady Bulldogs and the Harriman Middle School Lady Blue Devils was cold as ice, but in the final period, the Lady 'Dogs bark finally got some bite in the form of a 16-2 surge in the final stanza to take the 34-19 win.
