It wasn’t the ending they were hoping for, but the Kingston Yellow Jackets walked off the field at Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) with their heads held high Friday night following a 23-7 defeat at the hands of the defending state champion Warriors in the second round of the TSSAA Class 3A playoffs.

Although they did not make the playoffs, the Oliver Springs Bobcats did play a game over the weekend as Wiley Brackett’s squad defeated Stone Memorial, 47-30, Saturday afternoon at Grace Christian Academy.
For the third time in the past four seasons, the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers have ended Rockwood’s season as Friday night the Tigers dropped a 27-19 decision in Chattanooga in the opening round of the TSSAA Class 2A playoffs.
