    The TWRA Region 3 Reservoir Fisheries Crew has completed its annual fall trap netting surveys on Chickamauga and Watts Bar Reservoirs.  Results of these surveys have given a good indication of what levels of crappie spawning success were achieved this past spring.

    Normally a 21-point halftime deficit would be a little too much for a team to overcome, but that wasn’t the case Friday night for Jeff King’s Harriman Blue Devils. Trailing 30-9 at the half, the Blue Devils came roaring back and then used a pair of big late shots to come away with a 60-58 victory over Rockwood.

    Things weren’t quite as tough on the Lady Devils as Jim Cordell’s squad picked up a 56-47 victory over the Lady Tigers.

    Girls Game

    The Roane County High School Lady Jackets gave the Oliver Springs Lady Bobcats all they could handle, but could not overcome three Lady Jackets fouling out. The Lady 'Cats took a 53-48 win Thursday evening.

    Oliver Springs took a 14-12 lead at the end of the first period. The Lady 'Cats used a 6-0 surge to close out the half to take a 29-24 lead.
