The Harriman Blue Devils and Rockwood Tigers completed their season series Friday night at Rockwood’s Tom W. Evans Gymnasium and it would be the Rockwood girls and Harriman boys coming away with victories.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will continue to accept comments through Jan. 19 concerning the proposal of a hunting season for sandhill cranes.

Thursday night was a good night for the Oliver Springs Middle School Bobcats and Lady ‘Cats picked up big wins over Harriman.
In between last week’s snow flakes, the Rockwood Middle School Tigers travelled to Wartburg and swept the Bulldogs.
The Lady Tigers opened the evening with a narrow 33-28 victory over the Lady Bulldogs.
Defense was the name of the game Tuesday night as the Rockwood Tigers and Lady Tigers both picked up District 3-A victories at Berean Christian.
Tuesday night was a good night for the Oliver Springs Lady Bobcats and Midway Green Waves as both picked up easy victories.
The Kingston Yellow Jackets and Harriman Blue Devils renewed their rivalry Tuesday night at Harriman’s Richard D. Pickell Gymnasium and both schools would come away with a victory.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reminds the public the 2011 Hiwassee Crane Viewing Days will be held on Jan. 15-16.
