  • Midway stumbles on road

The Midway Green Wave and Lady Waves made the long trip to Tellico Plains Tuesday night, but the trip was not a good one as the Bears and Lady Bears took both games from Midway.
The girls game would see the Lady Bears grab a big early lead and cruise to a 61-46 victory. The second game of the evening was a barn burner as overtime was needed for Tellico Plains to pick up a 56-55 victory.
Midway will look to rebound from the tough losses Friday night when they host Harriman.
