Oliver Springs baseball falls to district foe Coalfield

The Oliver Springs High School baseball team traveled to Coalfield High School Monday night. The trip would result in a 2-7 loss for the Bobcats. This brings them to 4-1 on the year in district play. They were previously unbeaten.

Keith Roberts got the start for the Bobcats. He finished the night with seven strikeouts, five hits and giving up four runs.

“He pitched well, and battled every batter he faced,” Oliver Springs head coach Tony Kelgley.
