Roane County High School’s volleyball team held its first camp this summer.
Roane County High School coach Megan Skinner hopes it will give the girls experience that will help them when they come join the team as high school students.
“We are looking to better our program. We have to find a way to build skills before the kids get here so the camp is doubling as a fundraiser and as a way for the girls to build skills before they come here,” Skinner said.
Four campers attended this inaugural camp with the high school team.
