It took a jury of nine men and three women a little less than two hours Wednesday to return a guilty verdict in the federal firearms case against Rocky Joe Houston.

Houston was remanded back into the custody of U.S. Marshals following the verdict finding him guilty of being a felon in possession of firearms.

His sentencing hearing is set for June 26.

Houston was arrested in Kingston in January 2013 after a camera near his family's South of the River farm captured images of him with guns. Houston, who was convicted of a felony in 2010 for evading arrest, was prohibited from possessing firearms.

The jury began deliberations at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. The bailiff at the U.S. District Courthouse in Knoxville announced a verdict had been reached at 12:27 p.m.
