Leo R. ‘Iodine’ Stinnett

Leo R. “Iodine” Stinnett, 83, of Rockwood, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at his home.

He was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Kingston. He was a member of Asbury Chapel United Methodist Church in Rockwood; a member of the Waldens Ridge Antique Car Club; a member of the A and B Shooters Social Club; and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired welder with the U.S. Department of Energy X-10 plant and was a longtime member of the Pipefitters Union in Oak Ridge. He was also a local photographer, an avid hunter and a University of Tennessee Vols fan.
