Oliver Springs’ late rally falls short

To quote the poem “To a Mouse” by Scottish poet Robert Burns, “The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.” Such was the case for the Oliver Springs Bobcats in their season-opener against the Bledsoe County Warriors as the ‘Cats rallied from a 21-0 first quarter deficit to tie the game early in the fourth quarter, but miscues and misfires on both sides of the ball proved to spell “d-o-o-m” for the Bobcats as Bledsoe County persevered for the 28-21 win.
