Yager’s chili supper a good time for a good cause

-A A +A

One of the best reasons to show up at state Sen. Ken Yager’s 25th Annual Chili Supper on Friday, Nov. 16, is the opportunity to help local non-profit organizations.

But there’s another reason — you never know who you might run into.

Over the past 25 years a legion of political officials have showed up at the event at Roane State Community College to help serve delicious bowls of hot chili while raising money for good causes.

Guests are sometimes surprised to see well known state and local officials on the serving line.
