    James Rollen Robinett Sr., 87, of Lenoir City, died Friday, March 30, 2012.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Robinett; and his parents, Garlie and Bonnie Robinett.

    Survivors include a son, James R. Robinett, Roane County.

    Memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, in Hilltop Baptist Church, Roane County. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City, is in charge of arrangements.

    Elmer Franklin Rich, attorney and resident of Rockwood, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012, at home.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Rich and Macel Carroll Rich.

    He leaves his family, Annette Rich, Melora Felice Rich, Grady Tilman Rich, Sarah Parker Rich, Sara Elizabeth Foy and Sandi Parker Rich.

    Private services and burial were Saturday, March 31, at Oak Grove Cemetery. Weaver Funeral Home, Knoxville, was in charge of arrangements.

  • Herbert H. ‘Hub’ Lee

    Herbert H. “Hub” Lee, 81, of Oak Ridge, went home to Jesus on Thursday, March 29, 2012.

    At the time of his death, he was pastor of Woodland Park Baptist in Oak Ridge. Born in Graham County, N.C., in 1930, he spent most of his childhood in North Carolina. His mother passed away when he was an infant, and he was raised by his father, William Lee; his grandparents, George and Ellen Lee; and his aunt, Evie Owenby.

    Mary Helen Hollinghead, 98, of Rockwood, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012, in The Bridge at Rockwood.

    She was born April 29, 1913, in Roane County, to William F. and Elizabeth Acuff Millican. She was a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Holt Hollinghead; two sisters, Madge M. Ferguson and Margaret Millican; and two brothers, Fred and Billy Millican.

    Lloyd Holden, 61, in long-term care in The Bridge at Rockwood, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012. “From present sorrows to everlasting joy” (Psalm 30).

    Survivors include his wife, Mary Holden; and three stepchildren, John Ziegler Jr., Goldsboro, N.C., Sarah Ziegler and Angela Leopard, both of Knoxville; a brother, Tom Hubbard, Pinehurst, N.C.; and two sisters, Helen Dowdy, Virginia Beach, Va., and Shirley Marshall, Engelhard, N.C.

    Leo Joseph Fay, 94, of Jonesborough, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, in NHC Healthcare, Johnson City, TN.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Margaret A. Fay; and his wife, Mildred Hope Fay.

    Survivors include two sons, Gary Joseph Fay, Jonesborough, and Thomas Eugene Fay, Newbury, Park, Calif.

    Burial with full military honors was at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Anderson Memorial Gardens, Clinton. Sharp Funeral Home, Oliver Springs, was in charge of arrangements.

    William Eugene “Bill” Clifton (W4DNF), 89, of Rockwood, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, in Roane Medical Center, Harriman.

    Angela White Wetz, 36, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012, at her residence.

    She was a loving wife and loving mother of her two girls, Erica and Bridget. She was a licensed LPN. She enjoyed scrapbooking and loved her dogs, Angel, Damien and Gabby. She was a huge Alabama fan.

  • Steven A. Solomon

    Steven A. Solomon, 53, of Oakdale, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, in Roane Medical Center, Harriman.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lula Solomon.

    Survivors include his wife, Teresa Ming Solomon; a son, Lee Solomon; and a daughter, Valerie Solomon.

    A private memorial service will be at a later date. Davis Funeral Home, Harriman, is in charge of arrangements.
